Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated with business. I've been surrounded by business owners my whole life. My Grandfather and my Father started their businesses from the ground up and were both pretty successful. I always seemed to be at work with one of them. Be it after school or during the holidays. At the time I thought I was there to help but with hindsight, I was more of a hindrance. 

I remember when I dropped out of college at 18 and got my first full-time job in my Grandfather's Electrical business. I was a shop boy, cleaner, teamaker, delivery driver really a general dog's body but, I loved it!

A couple of years later I went to work with my Dad. My mum wasn't too happy about it as she felt it may affect our relationship, but it didn't at all…It blossomed. We became best friends and still are today.

I learned many valuable business skills working with my Grandfather and my Dad but most importantly, I was taught the soft skills of communicating with people and problem-solving, which to this day are my favourite parts of the Job.

I spent a couple of years of my mid-twenties travelling the world. Europe, Asia, Americas. When I returned It was time to start my own business. 

I have been working for myself ever since. I have had different business ventures in many industries. Some of them were not as successful as others, but the ones where I made the mistakes are the ones I cherish most as they helped me succeed and taught me the most valuable lessons. I think it was Edison who once said while trying to invent the light bulb.

I started Tucksone Investments because I know the struggles business owners go through. The sleepless nights and the problems we face on a day-to-day basis. I've been in the trenches and I wanted to help.
