Celso Poderoso

Celso Poderoso has a strong background in analytics and data management. Celso started their career as an Undergraduate Program Manager at FIAP, where they created three successful undergraduate programs and developed partnerships with tech companies. Celso later became a Senior Product Manager and oversaw MBA programs in business intelligence, big data, and cloud. Additionally, Celso worked as a Graduate and Undergraduate Professor at FIAP, teaching courses in data science and related subjects.

In 2011, Celso joined MicroStrategy as an Analytics Consulting Manager and deployed several large projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Celso also coached and mentored a team of consultants to improve productivity and performance. Celso then became the Director of Analytics Consulting, where they were responsible for service sales and project delivery. Celso successfully increased revenue, margin, utilization, and headcount for the Brazil and Argentina business units. Celso also improved cross-functional team partnerships and defined AI and ML project architectures.

From 2021-2023, Celso worked at Loblaw Companies Limited as a Senior Manager of Data Analytics. In this role, they optimized offshore billing hours and project management governance, resulting in improved deliverables and on-time project completion.

Currently, Celso is the Director of Analytics at Tucows, where they lead the analytics department.

Celso Poderoso has a diverse education history. Celso obtained a BSc in Economics from USCS - Universidade Municipal de São Caetano do Sul. Celso also pursued a Post-Graduate degree in Information Systems from Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André. Furthermore, Celso completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo - FATEC-SP. Additionally, they participated in the Online X Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in Envisioning Big Data in the field of Computer Science. Moreover, Celso obtained several certifications, including MicroStrategy Advanced Big Data Administrator, MicroStrategy Database Architect, MicroStrategy Data Modeler from MicroStrategy, and R Programming, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and Critical Thinking in Global Challenges from Coursera. In 2022, they completed Leadership Training for Managers at Dale Carnegie Training, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
