David Burn is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and secure communication technologies. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at zk-Call & Digital Co. since July 2023, David also holds the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at Tucows, where the focus has been on technical innovations for internet services. Previously, David directed secure AR technology at Magic Leap, emphasizing privacy protocols using Zero-Knowledge Proofs. As Chief AI Ethics Strategist at OpenAI, David developed ethical AI frameworks, while earlier roles included leading AI and neuroscience research at Neuralink and working as an MLOps Engineer at Sift.
