Ivan Smeets

Ivan Smeets is an accomplished HR leader with extensive experience across various companies, currently serving as HR Director for European Markets & Airlines and Western Region at TUI since April 2015, overseeing approximately 25,000 employees. Previously held multiple HR leadership positions at TUI Group, including HR Director Aviation for several airlines. Smeets also worked at The Coca-Cola Company from 2008 to 2015, where responsibilities included HR Director for South Pacific and leading HR transformations across Europe. Prior roles at Unilever and Terumo Medical Corporation provided foundational HR management experience in various business environments. Smeets holds a Master's in HR Leadership from the Rotterdam School of Management and has multiple degrees in Human Resources and Economics from Hasselt University.
