Tom Hammond

Tom Hammond is an experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer with a background in aircraft maintenance, having worked with British Airways and Air Canada before joining TUI. Tom's career began as an Engineering Apprentice at British Airways, progressing to roles such as Aircraft Mechanic, where a diverse range of maintenance tasks were performed. As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Tom led teams in troubleshooting and maintenance of various aircraft systems. At Air Canada, responsible for line maintenance at London Heathrow, Tom ensured compliance with safety regulations. Most recently at TUI, Tom managed shift operations, overseeing licensed engineers and mechanics while providing leadership during aircraft maintenance activities. Tom holds an Advanced Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance from British Airways in partnership with Kingston College.
