Nicolas Villegas

Nicolas Villegas has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Nicolas is currently the CoFounder, CTO, and Brazil Country Manager at Tul, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the CTO at Tul from January 2020 to December 2022.

Before joining Tul, Nicolas worked at EW Tech as an Advisor and CoFounder starting from June 2015, where they focused on new customers, channels, and industries for applying green technologies. Nicolas was also a co-founder of Re-Call, a cloud-based paging and analytics platform, from June 2019.

Nicolas has also held various managerial and founder roles. Nicolas was the Country Manager and Head of E-Commerce at MDS Digital, a digital agency, from September 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, they were the Founder of DIGID, a digital commerce company, from June 2017 to September 2019. Nicolas also founded and served as the Managing Director of LRS Colombia, an exclusive distributor of paging systems, from January 2007 to September 2017.

In addition, Nicolas has experience as a CEO and Founder. Nicolas founded and led ViTo Brands, the largest Crocs distributor in Colombia, from April 2010 to January 2017. Nicolas was also the Country Manager and CoFounder of Egomexico, where they were responsible for starting the company, legal creation, and the implementation of RFID and voice-driven technologies in warehouse operations in Colombia and Ecuador, from August 2007 to August 2011.

Throughout their career, Nicolas has focused on areas such as technology, sustainability, e-commerce, and digital marketing.

Nicolas Villegas holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad de Los Andes, which they completed from 2011 to 2013. Nicolas also has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Electronics, and another Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Industrial, both from Universidad de Los Andes, obtained from 2001 to 2006.

In terms of additional certifications, Nicolas obtained the Vtex Support certification from VTEX The True Cloud Commerce Platform in July 2019. Nicolas also obtained the Vtex Reseller certification from the same institution in July 2018. Additionally, they hold the Google Adwords certification from Google, achieved in July 2018. In 2007, Nicolas obtained the RFID+ certification from CompTIA and the RFIDSCM certification from ISCEA - International Supply Chain Education Alliance, although the specific months are not provided.
