Benjamin Kanz

Benjamin Kanz is an Associate Researcher and PhD candidate at TUMCREATE, focusing on Singapore's pathway to carbon neutrality through the analysis and modeling of hydrogen production, transport, storage, handling, and carbon capture. Prior experience includes serving as a Process Engineer at Paul Wurth, where responsibilities encompassed process calculations and technical management for low-carbon ironmaking, and a Master Thesis Student at BMW Group, specializing in lithium-ion battery venting process simulation. Benjamin has also interned at Roche in biopharmaceutical production support, Linde Engineering in research and development for catalyst testing, and as a Research Assistant at Karlsruhe Institute für Technologie, conducting experiments in oil mist filtration. Educational credentials include a PhD candidacy and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
