Hilde Isachsen

Nano & MEMS engineer at Tunable

Hilde Isachsen has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Hilde'smost recent position was as a Nano & MEMS engineer at Tunable AS, where they started in August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Master student researcher at CIC nanoGUNE from January 2020 to June 2020. From June 2019 to August 2019, Hilde worked as a Global Technology Business Developer at Framo, where they set up lab experiments testing fluid dynamics of enclosed fish farms and helped with testing of full-scale pumps. Hilde also had a previous stint at Framo as a Global Technology Business Developer from May 2018 to August 2018.

Before joining Framo, Hilde worked as a Research Assistant in the gravity lab at Humboldt State University from August 2016 to May 2018. In this role, they gained experience using LabView and SolidWorks. In 2017, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they helped set up a new experiment on the gravitational constant G, performed error calculations for machined parts, and independently designed and built the enclosure for the experiment.

Earlier in their career, Hilde worked as a Data Analyst for OneSubsea, where they searched for data in Microsoft Dynamics Axapta, Visma, and Excel. Hilde also worked as a Seasonal Sales Assistant at Saape from May 2015 to February 2016, and as a Sales Assistant at Lucky Duck from April 2013 to May 2015.

Hilde Isachsen's education history begins in 2011 when they attended Bergen Katedralskole and obtained a degree in Generell studiekompetanse, which grants their general study competence. From 2012 to 2014, they continued their education at Bergen Katedralskole with a focus on Realfag. Hilde then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Fysikk (Physics) at Humboldt State University from 2014 to 2018. Hilde continued their academic journey by enrolling in KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nanoteknologi (Nanotechnology).
