Roar Hernes

Roar Hernes has extensive experience in business development, sales, and marketing. Roar is currently working as a Business Development Manager at Tunable since December 2022. Prior to this, they held senior positions at Aker BioMarine, including Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing from April 2009 to December 2022, and Business Director from 2007 to 2009. Before joining Aker BioMarine, they worked as a KAM at MöllerCollett AS from 2003 to 2007. Roar also has experience as a Brand Manager at Nidar from 2000 to 2003 and at Sætre AS from 1999 to 2000.

Roar Hernes began their education at Gimle VGS, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Roar then attended BSHTI from 1992 to 1993, followed by Stanford University in 1997. In 1994, Hernes enrolled at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where they completed their degree and obtained a Siviløkonom diploma in 1998. That same year, they also briefly attended WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Although there is no specific information on field of study or degree obtained for Hernes at Stanford University and WU, it can be inferred that those experiences were part of their overall education journey.
