Michael Mason

Michael Mason is a software engineer who currently works at Tuned. Michael has over six years of experience in the industry, having co-founded and served as the Senior Vice President of Product/Engineering at Mercato from June 2015 to June 2021. At Mercato, Michael was responsible for the product and technology vision, setting standards and project processes, while maintaining overall P&L. Michael also oversaw and participated in the development and management of the company's data analytics infrastructure.

Under Michael's leadership, Mercato successfully introduced and implemented an initiative to rearchitect the system into microservices. Michael also negotiated with vendors and suppliers, data partners, and other outsourcing agencies to scale engineering infrastructure. In addition, they developed solutions for business intelligence and machine learning, providing the highest value and rate of return.

Prior to their work at Mercato, Michael Mason was a software engineer at Tuned. Michael has also been a software engineer at previous companies.

Michael Mason attended Paint Branch High School.

They are on a team with Nicky Cen - Software Engineer, Logan Aube - Software Engineer, and Nick Berard - Software Engineer. Michael Mason reports to Logan Aubé, VP, Engineering.
