Bruno Gomes

Bruno Gomes is a full-stack engineer at Tunelark. Bruno was previously with Figma, Inc. from October 2013 to June 2016, where they were the 3rd employee and current investor. At Figma, they helped the company pivot to become a collaborative interface design tool, launched a product that early users loved, and helped raise a $14 million Series A led by Greylock Partners. The company is now valued at over $2 billion.

Gomes' responsibilities at Figma included collecting and organizing customer feedback, working with small teams of engineers and designers to define and design new features, managing the weekly sprint planning process, giving feedback on or approving all customer-facing changes, writing and editing all UI copy, planning and managing releases, coordinating messaging with the marketing manager, and developing the pilot program by pitching to design leaders at companies like Twitter and Thumbtack. Bruno also managed all business operations, including accounting, bank accounts, financial projections, 409A valuation, and Series A due diligence.
