David Palacios

David Palacios is the R&D Director at Tupl. David was previously a visiting Ph.D. student at Nokia Bell Labs, where they studied mixed-criticality traffic and machine-type communications schemes in heterogeneous networks. Prior to that, they were a research assistant/analyst in collaboration with Ericsson at Universidad de Malaga, where they developed systems for the automatic fault detection and diagnosis in cellular networks. From February 2016 to April 2019, they were a hired researcher at Universidad de Málaga, where their research topic was Next-Generation Self-Organizing Networks through a Machine Learning Approach. David has also lectured on mobile communication networks (B.Sc. in Telematics Engineering), planification and optimization of radio access networks (M.Sc. in Telematics Engineering), and mobile network architecture (M.Sc. in Telematics Engineering).

David Palacios has a Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad de Málaga, as well as B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in the same field from the same school. David also has a B.Sc. in Physics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., and is certified by the University of Cambridge at the C1 Level (CEFR) in English.
