Jacs Chen

Jacs Chen has a diverse background in software engineering and technical roles. They started their career as an Undergraduate Programmer at the Information Security Laboratory in Tamkang University from September 2011 to February 2012. They then moved on to work as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis Laboratory in Tamkang University from February 2012 to February 2014, where they focused on face hallucination and improving the details of a face using PCA.

In 2014, Jacs joined The Information Security Center, Coast Guard Administration as a Full-Stack Web Developer from October 2014 to July 2015. During this time, they enhanced the performance of converting a blur small front face image into a large clear one.

After that, Jacs worked at Alpha Information Systems, Inc. as a Software Engineer from March 2017 to July 2017. They contributed to the development of software and the website for the company.

Most recently, Jacs has been working at Turing AI since May 2018. They started as a Software Engineering Intern and then progressed to the role of a Software Engineer. As of March 2021, Jacs holds the position of Director of Engineering at Turing AI.

Overall, Jacs Chen has gained significant experience in software engineering, web development, research, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Jacs Chen completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science at Tamkang University from 2010 to 2014. Following this, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the University of Southern California.
