Abbas Hosseini

Abbas Hosseini is an accomplished machine learning professional with a robust academic background and extensive industry experience. Currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Turing since December 2024, Abbas previously held the role of Principal ML Engineer. As a co-founder of Tapsage from July 2023 to November 2024 and Traxnet from April 2019 to June 2023, Abbas has demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership and technical expertise, particularly in the role of Chief Technology Officer at Traxnet. Earlier experience includes a position as a Machine Learning Research Intern at EPFL in 2011. Abbas holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence, a Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Software Engineering, all from Sharif University of Technology.
