Alan Celestino

Alan Celestino is a Senior Data Scientist II (IC5) at Turing, with nearly five years of experience in data science. Previously, Alan served as a Squad Lead and Product Stream Driver at CID, where they developed a successful unsupervised algorithm for News Event Detection and led a team of software engineers and data scientists. Alan's academic achievements include a Dr. rer. nat. in Physics from Technische Universität Dresden, a Master of Science from Universidade Federal do Paraná, and a Bachelor's Degree from Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, with exemplary grades throughout their studies. Prior to these roles, Alan was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems, where they published three scientific papers in well-regarded physics journals.
