Valery Malyshau is an experienced data scientist and team lead with a strong background in deep learning and AI. Currently leading a team at Turing since February 2023, Valery focuses on creating datasets for AI applications. Valery previously worked as a data scientist at Shapeion Technologies, developing deep learning tools, and at Empathic Computing Lab, where techniques for EEG emotion recognition were advanced. Prior to these roles, Valery gained research experience as a junior researcher at the United Institute of Informatics Problems and held software engineering positions at NTP REATechno and UltraOsteon GmbH, emphasizing protocols and image processing. Valery holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Belarusian State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, supplemented by interdisciplinary studies at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
