Vishal Sah

Vishal Sah, PhD, is a Project Scientist at CSIR-CCMB, where they investigate the role of mitochondria in innate immunity and antiviral therapies. With a robust background in mitochondrial biology, Vishal has developed high-throughput pipelines for antiviral target discovery and works as a Biology Subject-Matter Expert for AI teams, enhancing language models with biological accuracy. They have held various research roles, including as a Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow, and are currently engaged in projects that intersect virology, mitochondria, and AI-driven discovery. Vishal earned a Bachelor’s degree in Botany, a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a PhD in the same field from banaras Hindu University and CCMB, Hyderabad.
