Ethan Sinclair

Satellite Design Engineer at Turion Space

Ethan Sinclair has held various engineering positions since 2017. Ethan began their career as a Project Management Intern at KCMO Public Works. In 2018, they were an Engineering Intern at Northrop Grumman, where they worked in process engineering to improve procedures and processes. The following year, they returned to Northrop Grumman as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, where they analyzed and implemented a new spinning machine that gauged the mass balance of the product. In 2020, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at SpaceX, where they designed a bracket tool and specified overhead crane requirements for the Dragon 2 build. From 2017-2022, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Material Science and Engineering Kacher Lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ethan also held the roles of Lead Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) Engineer, Structures Lead, and Formula SAE Chassis Team Lead of the GT CubeSat Team at the Georgia Tech Space System Design Lab. In 2022, they began working as a Satellite Design Engineer at Turion Space.

Ethan Sinclair attended Lincoln College Preparatory Academy from 2013 to 2017 and is currently pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology, expected to be completed in 2022. Ethan has also obtained certifications in Machining from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017 and Metropolitan Community College in 2015.
