Orkun Basar

Orkun Basar is an experienced professional in supply chain management and procurement, currently serving as a Team Member at Turkcell since July 2007. Since October 2013, Orkun has focused on strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, supplier appraisal, and supplier relationship management within Turkcell's Supply Chain Management / Technical Procurement division. Prior to this role, Orkun conducted financial analysis and managed orders, suppliers, and governance procedures in Turkcell Procurement. Earlier experience includes inventory management and process implementation in Turkcell's Technical Procurement & Inventory Management. Before joining Turkcell, Orkun worked as a Key Account Manager at Ekol Logistics, overseeing spare part procurement, stock management, and SAP implementation, and also served as Plant Warehouse Manager, focusing on warehouse operations and inventory management. Orkun holds a degree from Istanbul University.
