Turner Consulting Group is a Canadian leader in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) consulting. Since 2002, we’ve partnered with organizations in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to conduct equity assessments and embed equity, diversity, and inclusion into their policies, programs, and organizational culture.

Our team brings a deep understanding of how systemic discrimination manifests in organizations and how to address it. We offer a range of services to support our clients to deliver relevant and appropriate services to an increasingly diverse population and comply with equity-related legislation, meet their research and policy development needs, and evaluate programs through an equity-lens. 

We conduct Equity Audits and collect student, staff, and client demographic data to help organizations understand the equity issues they face. Our analysis supports the development of EDI Strategies and Action Plans, building environments where everyone can thrive.  Our training and professional learning programs deepen your team’s understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion, what it means for them as an employee, and how to embed EDI into their work so that it’s an add-in rather than an add-on. 

Turner Consulting Group is also an expert in anti-Black racism, having completed a number of seminal studies in the field. Founder and Principal Consultant, Tana Turner, has served as an expert witness on anti-Black racism for the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. For over 30 years, Tana has been committed to driving systemic change and improving outcomes for Black and marginalized communities in Canada.
