Umar Manack

Umar Manack is an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a robust professional background spanning various roles in cost management and construction. At Turner & Townsend, Umar served as Lead Cost Manager and progressed through positions from Quantity Surveyor to Senior Cost Manager between May 2025 and October 2021. Previous experience includes roles at Kalam Construction as a Junior Quantity Surveyor, Laatoe Key Kotze cc as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor, and BTKM Quantity Surveyors as a Student QS. Additionally, Umar worked at LDM Quantity Surveyors as a Professional Quantity Surveyor and gained initial experience at the University of Cape Town as a Student Assistant and at Nedbank in Facilities Management. Umar holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Studies and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Quantity Surveying from the University of Cape Town.
