Malcolm Griffiths, CDME has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Malcolm began their career at Harte-Hanks as an Aussie Helpline Supervisor in 2000. From there, they moved on to Tourism Australia, where they served as a Media Relations Coordinator from 2001 to 2003.

In 2003, Griffiths joined Development Counsellors International as a Vice President. During their tenure, they worked as an account lead, developing marketing strategies and managing client expectations. Some of the clients they worked with include Visit California, VisitSweden, and New Mexico Tourism Department. Malcolm also created and implemented integrated marketing communication campaigns, which involved content marketing, media relations, direct-to-consumer promotions, and working with strategic partners.

In 2016, Griffiths joined VisitBritain as the Country Manager for Brazil. In this role, they developed and implemented VisitBritain's integrated marketing strategy for Brazil. Malcolm managed the office, including staff, budgets, procurement, and compliance processes, and oversaw all marketing spend. Malcolm maintained key stakeholder relationships with partner airlines, government partners, travel trade, and other tourism boards.

Most recently, Griffiths joined TURNER Public Relations in 2022 as a Senior Vice President.

Malcolm Griffiths, CDME, has a diverse educational background in the fields of purchasing, procurement/acquisitions and contracts management, destination marketing and management, public relations, and tourism management.

In 2020, Malcolm attended the UK Government for a course in purchasing, procurement/acquisitions and contracts management.

From 2014 to 2016, Malcolm pursued a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) degree at Destinations International. The focus of this program was on destination marketing and management.

In 2001, Malcolm obtained a certification from UCLA Extension in the field of public relations.

Malcolm's educational journey began in 1997 when they enrolled at the University of Technology Sydney. Malcolm completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Tourism Management in 1999.
