Katie Ryan is an experienced UX Researcher currently employed at Turnitin since November 2025, with a history of significant contributions in various research roles. Prior to Turnitin, Katie worked at the University of Denver as a Research Assistant in Methodology, managing research projects and supporting psychometric and applied research initiatives. Previous experience includes positions as Lead Researcher and Senior Researcher at Guild, where Katie focused on user-centered research and mixed-methods studies to improve adult learner outcomes, as well as roles at Ibotta as a UX Researcher and Consumer Research Analyst. Katie also served as Affiliate Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver, teaching psychology courses and mentoring students.
