Sakura L.

Sakura L. is an experienced professional currently serving as Integration Specialist and Technical Support Representative at Turnitin since July 2021. Prior to this role, Sakura worked as a freelance interpreter and translator from May 2014 to July 2021, providing simultaneous and consecutive interpreting as well as translating various business and legal documents in multiple language pairs, including Chinese-Japanese, Chinese-English, and English-Japanese. Additional experience includes project management at 2M Language Services and Yoshikawa International Patent Office, where responsibilities encompassed patent and trademark filings, managing inquiries from international partners, and overseeing translation teams. In June 2019, Sakura held the position of Liaison Officer for delegates from the People's Republic of China at the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan. Education includes a Bachelor of Asia-Pacific Studies and Bachelor of Music from The Australian National University, along with a Double Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting from Monash University.
