Cedric Mathieu is the Vice President of Canada at Turo. Cedric has over ten years of experience in the field of live entertainment.

Cedric started their career as an assistant to the COO at Pixmania. Cedric then worked as an analyst at Clipperton Finance before becoming a strategy consultant at Javelin Group. In 2013, they co-founded WESAWIT, Inc. and served as the company's Chief Operating Officer.

Under Cedric's leadership, WESAWIT became a fan-engagement platform for the live entertainment industry. The company helped live entertainment professionals leverage social photos & videos posted by fans at live events, providing them with the best aggregation algorithm, a comprehensive set of moderation and display options (Facebook, widgets, iframes, etc.) and unprecedented data about their fans.

WESAWIT's website (wesawit.com/events) also offered a single destination for fans around the world to discover the latest photos & videos of their favorite events, artists and sports teams.

Clients included top-tier venues (e.g., STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, Hollywood Bowl, etc.), event promoters (e.g., Goldenvoice, Insomniac) and artists (e.g., TobyMac) across the US.

In September 2014, Cedric left WESAWIT to join Turo as the Vice President of Canada. In this role, they are responsible for growing the company's business in Canada.

Cedric Mathieu has a MSc in Management from HEC Paris and a MSc in Entrepreneurship & New Business Venturing from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

They are on a team with and Xavier Collins - VP, UK. Their manager is Alex Benn, President.
