David is a global marketing leader recognized for building iconic brands that break through culture while driving measurable growth. A believer that creativity is a business advantage, he has led award-winning campaigns gaining Gold Effies for effectiveness, Grand Prix Cannes Lions for creativity, the Grand Clio, and AdAge’s Idea of the Year.

David began his career at some of the world’s most storied advertising agencies such as TBWA, Wieden+Kennedy, and Crispin Porter + Bogusky. He later served as Head of Brand Management at Venables Bell & Partners, before becoming EVP, Managing Director, US at R/GA.

Before joining Turo, David was Chief Marketing Officer and then Chief Commercial Officer at Opendoor, where he transformed marketing from a lower-funnel direct marketing function into a modern growth engine. David is also a passionate advocate for inclusive leadership, purpose-driven innovation, and the power of dyslexic thinking to challenge convention and unlock transformative ideas.
