Louis Bertuca

VP, Government Relations at Turo

Lou Bertuca is the Head of Government Relations for Turo. In this role, he leads Turo’s work with policymakers around the world to advance the company’s legislative objectives and educate lawmakers about the economic and environmental benefits created by peer-to-peer car sharing. Prior to joining Turo, Bertuca was the Executive Director of the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority. Bertuca also served an advisor to the Illinois Governor Patrick Quinn for 8 years, cutting his teeth in Illinois politics, first as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, and then, later, serving as a Deputy Chief of Staff and the Governor’s campaign manager.Bertuca holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business and graduated from Lake Forest College. He can be spotted driving around San Francisco in his Ford Explorer with his wife, Brooke, and their three children.
