Sonya Ives

Sonya Ives is an experienced design leader in the technology and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Senior Director of Product Design at Turo. Previously, Sonya held the position of Product Design Director for Emerging Products and Coach Experiences at BetterUp, and acted as Head of Product Design at Alto Pharmacy, overseeing pharmacy and delivery experiences. Sonya's extensive background includes notable roles at Uber, where contributions were made as Head of Eats Marketplace Design and Consumer Design Manager, as well as Sr. Product Design Lead for Consumer Delivery Experience. Earlier in Sonya's career, experience was gained as a Senior User Experience Designer and Interaction & Motion Designer at Communica. Sonya holds an Honors Degree Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Bowling Green State University, completed in 2007, with additional minors in Computer Science.
