Martin Dieck

Mr. Martin Dieck is an entrepreneur that specializes in developing medical technologies to treat pathologies of the brain. He has founded 6 companies, including those that have developed new treatments for brain aneurysms and the first company to get approval for a medical device to treat severe acute ischemic stroke. Martin now serves on a number of boards of companies ranging from those developing next generation devices to treat a variety of brain pathologies, to a cutting edge brain machine interface to help improve the quality of life for people with paralysis. Martin has worked as a venture capitalist and founded a physician centric investment group called Neuro Technology Investors, comprised of a large number of leading neuro physicians from around the globe.

From a very young age, Martin has been drawn to the wonders and the diversity of design found in the natural world. Many of his inventions have taken inspiration from plants and animals that he found exploring fields and waterways while growing up in the midwest. He is an inventor with over 30 issued and pending patents. He received his BA in Biological Sciences from Willamette University and MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. Martin and his family share the same passion for learning, and helping others connect with the wonders found in nature through practical hands on experiences.
