Shane Faherty

Shane Faherty is the Inspection and Registration Manager for the Early Years Inspectorate at Tusla. Previously, Shane held the position of Research and Regulatory Manager at the Mental Health Commission IRL, focusing on regulatory enforcement and compliance. Shane also worked as an Advocacy Project Officer at the National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities and as a Project Officer with the National Disability Authority, where they drafted codes of practice for the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015. With a background in history, Shane earned a Ph.D. from University College Cork and has served as Chairperson of the Board of Management for the Bray School Project.
