Tusome Africa is registered with the Charity Commission in the UK (Reg No. 1176901) and also as an NGO  in (80020000255275).  Our vision is to “eliminate illiteracy” and our Mission is to “place every boy or girl at the forefront of development by increasing their opportunity to access equitable and inclusive quality.”

We currently work in Eastern part of Uganda focusing on improving Learning outcomes in primary schools and reducing drop out rates. Our priority programmes include:
- Promoting literacy through installation of hub libraries,
- Promotion of Early Childhood Development Pre-Schools,
- Leveraging the use of learning outcome data to drive through improvement in schools.
