Founded in 1938, TUTCO has grown into a global leader in the heating component industry. TUTCO supplies electric resistance heating elements for a broad range of applications. In 1994, TUTCO was purchased by Smiths Group plc, and managed through Flex-Tek, the group's Specialty Engineering division.

Formerly OSRAM SYLVANIA INC’s process heat division, TUTCO SureHeat has developed hundreds of products for the most demanding process heat applications.  Used worldwide, TUTCO SureHeat air heaters are integrated into OEM industrial applications for Aerospace, Automotive, and Medical Sterilization, Plastics / Rubber, Packaging, Printing, Semiconductor, and Textile markets.
