Amy Burger

Amy Burger has a diverse work experience in the education field. Amy began their career in 2016 as a Social Studies Teacher at North Edgecombe High School, where they taught American History, Civics and Economics, and AP US History. Amy also served as a District C certified Coach and was involved in various school initiatives such as the School Improvement Team and the National Honor Society.

In 2016, Amy worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher for Social Studies at Lebanon High School, teaching World Cultures B focusing on Asia and Europe for four sections.

In 2017, Amy joined Tutor.com as a Tutor, providing academic support and guidance to students.

Most recently, in 2020, Amy became a Teacher at Outschool, utilizing their expertise to deliver educational content to students.

Amy Burger completed their education at West Virginia University, where they earned a Master's degree in Political Science from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, with a minor in History, from 2001 to 2006.
