Ruth Manlandro

Ruth Manlandro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ruth began their career in 2003 as a Tech Support Specialist at Cathedral Parish School and later worked as a Tech Coordinator/Web Master at Cathedral Basilica of St Augustine from 2005 to 2010. In 2008, Ruth worked as a Tech Support Specialist at St. Johns County School Board. From 2011 to 2016, they held various roles at St Johns River State College, including Professor and Instructor/Professor. In 2015, Ruth became an Adjunct Instructor at Florida State College--Jacksonville and also started their own company called Ruth E Manlandro, Life Essential Skills, where they served as an Instructional Designer for eLearning Development. In 2017, they joined Educational Collaborators as a Collaborator and later became an Academic Tutor at Tutor.com. Ruth's most recent experience includes working at Eduscape from 2020 to 2021, where they held roles such as Learning Leader, Instructional Designer, and Academic Coach. Additionally, they served as a Design Team Coach at Digital Disciple Network from 2011 to 2021. Ruth Manlandro has an extensive education history. Ruth obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from Stockton University from 1984 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree in Educational Technology from Webster University, completing it in 2005. In 2008, they enrolled in Capella University and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Curriculum & Instruction, with a specialization in Instructional Design & Online Learning in 2012.

Ruth became a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert in 2022 and acquired certifications in Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and eLearning Development from Learning Strategy and Design. Ruth also achieved Google Certified Educator Level 1 & Level 2 certification from Google for Education in 2021.
