Tutor Connection is an international education consultancy offering bespoke academic support to students aged 7 to 22. We work primarily with international families who are navigating complex education systems and want thoughtful, long-term guidance rather than short-term tutoring fixes. Our focus is on helping students build confidence, structure and independence alongside strong academic outcomes.

Founded and led by Ashleigh Searle, Tutor Connection draws on more than 11 years of experience working with students across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Ashleigh spent ten years living and working in Italy, supporting international and bilingual students attending British and international schools, as well as those preparing to move abroad for boarding school or university. This international background shapes everything we do, from our teaching style to our understanding of cultural and educational transitions.

We specialise in English Literature and Language, History and the Humanities at GCSE, IGCSE and IB level, as well as entrance exam preparation for UK and international schools, including CAT4, UKISET and ISEB. We also provide university admissions support, including personal statements, interview preparation and academic planning. Much of our work centres on academic writing, essay structure and exam technique, helping students move from descriptive work to confident, analytical thinking.

Tutor Connection works with families over many years, often supporting students through multiple stages of their education. Students consistently achieve strong results, including significant grade improvements and successful placements at leading schools and universities. Our approach is calm, structured and highly personalised. Every programme is adapted to the individual student’s needs, goals and learning style, creating a supportive environment where students feel able to ask questions, take intellectual risks and develop genuine confidence.
