Weiping Yu

Weiping Yu has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. weiping started their career at Alibaba Cloud Computing Company as a PHP development engineer from March 2012 to January 2013. weiping then moved on to Taobao Marketplace as a Mobile Application Developer from February 2013 to May 2015. After that, they joined Alipay as a Senior iOS Developer from May 2015 to July 2017, and later became a Technical Expert from August 2017 to November 2017. weiping then transitioned to Tuya Smart as a Mobile Technical Lead from November 2017 to April 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Technology at Tuya Smart starting from September 2020. Additionally, they also served as the Director of Machine Learning at Tuya Smart from June 2019 to July 2023.

Weiping Yu completed a Master's degree in Communication and Information System at Zhejiang Gongshang University from 2005 to 2011.
