Melissa Backer

Melissa Backer is the Vice President of Human Resources at TVision. Melissa has over eight years of experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Melissa has a proven track record of improving employee retention and satisfaction, as well as increasing company productivity.

Prior to joining TVision, Melissa was the HR and Talent Acquisition Manager at CheckedUp. At CheckedUp, they were responsible for recruiting top talent and helping to onboard new employees. Melissa was also responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that helped to improve the overall efficiency of the company.

Before their time at CheckedUp, Melissa was the Director of HR and Talent Acquisition at Pypestream. At Pypestream, Melissa oversaw the recruitment of new employees and the onboarding process. Melissa also developed and implemented policies and procedures that helped to improve employee retention and satisfaction.

Melissa began their career in Human Resources as the Admissions/Recruiting and Financial Aid Officer at Rodeph Sholom School. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting new students and families, as well as managing the financial aid process. Melissa was also responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that helped to improve the overall efficiency of the school.

Melissa Backer reports to Yan Liu, CEO & Co-Founder. They work with Tristan Webster - SVP, Product & Operations, Alex Banks - SVP, Brand & Agency, and Hassan Babajane - SVP, Data and Media Partnerships.
