Alfredo Ramirez

Alfredo Ramírez has held various roles in the media industry in Chile. Alfredo began their career in 2000 as a Reportero de noticias de televisión at Canal 13 S.A. and later became an Editor Prensa. In 2013, they joined MEGA as an Editor General. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Canal 13 S.A. again, first as an Editor General and later as the Subdirector de Programacion. In 2020, Alfredo joined TVN (Televisión Nacional de Chile) as the Director de prensa and eventually became the Director Ejecutivo TVN. Additionally, since 2021, they have served as an Académico Universitario at Universidad Gabriela Mistral.

Alfredo Ramírez completed their Licenciatura Ciencias Sociales degree in Periodismo from Universidad Gabriela Mistral between 1996 and 2000. Prior to that, they attended Universidad de Santiago de Chile from 1993 to 1995, although they did not complete their degree in Ingeniería civil.
