Fernando Tapia

Fernando Tapia is a seasoned sports commentator and journalist with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as the EDITOR PERIODÍSTICO and COMENTARISTA DEPORTIVO at TVN (Televisión Nacional de Chile) since August 2021, Fernando also contributes as a sports commentator for RADIO PAUTA. Previous roles include serving as Jefe de Prensa y Comunicaciones for Horta Producciones during major rally events in Chile and a long tenure at Chilevisión as Periodista y Comentarista Deportivo from April 2001 to March 2019. Additional experience includes commentary positions across various radio stations and co-authoring the investigative book "JUEGO SUCIO." Fernando holds a degree from Universidad Diego Portales and a postgraduate degree in Reporterismo from Universidad Ramon Llul in Barcelona, as well as language training from EF Executive Language Institute in London.
