George Karachalias has a diverse work experience. George started their career as a Research Assistant at Ghent University in April 2014 and worked there until March 2016. In October 2014, they began their role as a PHD Student and Computer Lab Assistant at KU Leuven, which lasted until May 2018 and March 2018, respectively. From April 2019 to January 2020, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Tweag I/O, starting in February 2020.
George Karachalias completed their education in the field of computer science. George pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from KU Leuven from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, which was completed before 2013.
