Diana Eng

Diana Eng has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and materials operations. Starting in 2005, they held various roles at Amyris, including Scientist, Senior Associate Scientist, and Fermentation Research Associate, before becoming a Scientist 1 and Scientist 2. At Bolt Threads, they served as a Scientist, Lead Fermentation Scientist, and Associate Director of Fermentation, managing teams and leading projects related to process development and tech transfer. Most recently, Diana worked at Culture Biosciences as the Director of Bioprocess Alliance Management, where they oversaw a team responsible for customer onboarding and implementation. Diana also collaborated across departments to ensure customer needs were championed within the organization. Diana is currently the Director of Materials Operations at Twelve.

Diana Eng holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Diana also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
