Michael Roy is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project leadership and analysis within the energy sector. Currently serving as Principal Project Leader at TWI since April 2018, Michael has also worked at FMC Technologies as an Analysis Engineer since June 2011, focusing on Finite Element Analysis for wellheads and subsea christmas trees. Prior to this, Michael spent nearly a decade at QinetiQ as a Senior Engineer, leading projects and advising clients on fatigue, fracture, and repair in maritime applications. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
