Sofia Sampethai, CEng, is an experienced engineering professional with a background in project management, quality inspection, and research in nanotechnology and chemical engineering. At TWI since June 2017, Sofia has held various roles including Joint Industry Programme Manager and Senior Project Leader, focusing on H2020 projects and the development of novel technologies for condition and structural monitoring. Previous experience includes a quality inspector position at Agar Scientific Ltd and a research associate role at the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas, along with research assistant work at ETH Zurich where Sofia specialized in mass spectrometry and spectroscopy techniques for carbon nanotube applications. Educational credentials include a Master's in Process Engineering from ETH Zurich and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras.
