Wei Guo, PhD, CEng, MWeldI, is a Materials Engineer at the UK Atomic Energy Authority since November 2020 and serves as a Senior Project Leader in the NDT Section of TWI, Cambridge, since June 2018. Previously, Wei worked as a Research Associate in Bulk Additive Manufacturing at the Nuclear AMRC, University of Sheffield, and conducted research on welding technologies at The University of Manchester, including roles with Rolls-Royce. Wei has also completed various training programs in robotic programming and laser scanning techniques and holds a PhD in Laser Welding High Strength Steels from The University of Manchester and a Master's Degree in Welding Technology and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology.
