Chaitra S. is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Data Platform at Twilio since July 2014, Chaitra S. manages a team of approximately 40 professionals, focusing on the delivery of a robust Data & Analytics Platform capable of processing and storing vast amounts of data, handling millions of events per second at a petabyte scale. Prior to Twilio, Chaitra S. held positions at Riverbed Technology as a Software Engineer Intern, Cisco as a Software Engineer in Data Center Networking, and Lucent Technologies Bell Labs as a Software Engineer specializing in 3G Mobile Telecom. Chaitra S. holds a Master of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
