Matthew Black is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Twilio since April 2021, Matthew previously held the role of Senior Software Engineering Manager within the Twilio AI Team. Prior to Twilio, Matthew worked as Software Development Director and Manager at Solera Global Data & Content from December 2016 to April 2021. Additional experience includes roles as Lead Developer at Copado Solutions S.L., and various positions at IG from August 2009 to October 2015, culminating in Software Development Manager. Early career experience includes web development roles at Flexigroup and Skillsearch Contracting.
