Michael Deitch

Michael Deitch is a Senior Managing Counsel specializing in Corporate and M&A at Twilio, where they counsel executives on corporate matters and manage transactional work, including acquisitions and stock buybacks. They prepare SEC filings and lead the corporate governance of Twilio's subsidiaries, while also overseeing the legal function for Twilio Ventures' investment portfolio. Previously, Michael practiced at Gunderson Dettmer, advising companies on diverse corporate issues, and began their legal career at Simpson Thacher's Palo Alto office. Their background also includes experience as an Engineering Supervisor at Hardesty & Hanover, where they managed projects and staff engineers. Michael is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at Fordham University School of Law, alongside a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University.
