TWIN (Trade Worldwide Information Network) is an open-source digital infrastructure for global trade, enabling supply chain actors to share and manage data in real time. It connects governments and businesses in global trade to eliminate inefficiencies and paper-based processes. 

Leveraging distributed ledger technology, TWIN ensures data transparency, immutability, and traceability while streamlining operations, lowering costs, and promoting equitable trade access.

Developed by the TWIN Consortium – TradeMark Africa, the IOTA Foundation, the World Economic Forum, the Tony Blair Institute, the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation and the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade –TWIN fosters collaboration among governments and industries to drive policy change and build inclusive TWIN Ecosystems. These ecosystems bring together stakeholders, technologies, and standards to create scalable, interoperable solutions for efficient, data-driven global trade.
