Marco Piovanelli

Marco Piovanelli is a seasoned software engineer and technology leader with extensive experience in mobile app development and multimedia applications. As the Co-Founder of LedWorks since May 2016, Marco has contributed to the development of the Twinkly iOS app and various computer vision algorithms. Serving as CTO at Ovolab since January 2004, Marco has directed the engineering of notable projects such as Phlink, Geophoto, and WASTE 3. Previous contracting roles have included work on Mac OS X browser plugins, a cross-platform application for event photography, and a high-profile multimedia projector used at Italy’s largest planetarium. With a strong foundation in computer science from Università degli Studi di Milano, Marco has played pivotal engineering roles across multiple companies, honing expertise in software design and development.
