Twinseal Limited is one of the UK’s leading independent manufacturers of insulating glass units (IGUs) and toughened glass. Founded in 1975 and based in York, we have built a reputation for quality, consistency, and innovation over five decades.

As a family-run business now in its third generation, we combine heritage with forward-thinking investment. We were among the first independents in the UK to install an in-house glass toughening plant, and early adopters of advanced automation in IGU production. These strategic decisions have enabled us to deliver exceptional standards of product reliability, efficiency, and service.

Today, Twinseal is trusted by customers nationwide for:

High-performance IGUs and toughened glass manufactured with precision.

Automation and advanced technology that guarantee quality and consistency at scale.

Long-term partnerships built on reliability, innovation, and customer support.

With 50 years in business, 40 years of IGU manufacturing, and 25 years producing toughened glass, we remain committed to investing in technology, people, and processes to stay at the forefront of the glass and glazing industry.
